Interested in learning more about ARMA? If you live or work in Montgomery County or the surrounding areas, we hope you will consider attending one of our chapter meetings. It's a great opportunity to meet, greet, and get to know other professionals in the Records and Information Management fields.
We are always looking for new people to join. The chapter meets once a month at a different venue in the area to dine and then listen to a speaker. Meeting topics range from archive and library management to implementing electronic records management systems. Our speakers are invited from all levels of government, private institutions, and from the vendor community. To find out more about our activities, see our Events page.
Another way to learn about the Gaithersburg ARMA Chapter is to read the newsletter, New Images. It always provides interesting articles, sites to surf, upcoming events, educational and employment opportunities. There is something new every month.
To join our chapter, please go to the ARMA Headquarters membership page. The ARMA International student membership is $25.00 and includes an annual subscription to The Information Management Journal. Choose the Gaithersburg Chapter from the list of Mid-Atlantic chapters. The chapter fee is $30.00 and includes an annual subscription to our newsletter, New Images. To be eligible for the reduced student rate for meetings, you must be a member in good standing and have provided copies of your transcripts or other proof of student status to our Membership Director.
